15-Ball Pool Game Rules

pool & billiards

Pool is a very competitive sport, which is quite different from other billiard games. It is very popular around the globe. There are many types of pool in America, but the most well-known are the nine and eight ball pool. Most pool matches are played over many games. The winner is determined after the completion of a certain amount of frames. The winner generally gets 61 point. For different winning numbers, handicaps are possible.

The primary goal of the game are to have all the balls pounded. Each ball pounded counts for 1 point. All additional balls pounded are worth 1 point. A player usually wins if they get the eight balls first. A player who does not take the eight ball will lose the game. If the eight-ball is lost during a foul the other balls are taken and spotted. But, the foul is not counted towards the points. Two fouls in succession are a violation of the rules and a player must be informed before their next shot.

There are three groups of balls available: solid balls (striped balls), object balls (object balls), and striped balls (solid balls). They are typically smaller than American style balls. They come in a variety colours, including dark violet for four and twelve balls. Object balls used to be all red in the past. But they are now multi-colored. They can also be made from fibreglass, carbon fibre, wood and other materials. Most common diameters for balls are 2+1/16 in, 2 in, and 3 in.

The object of the game is to pocket the black eight ball. To do so, the player must pocket all the balls that are assigned to be pounded, but he must make sure that all the balls that are pocketed are spotted and placed in direct lines to the foot rail. The eight balls are placed back on to the table. After that, the player who has the eight ball can decide if he wants it to end or continue.

By placing the ball as close as possible to the spot where it will be called, a player can pocket the ball without fouling. Fouls must not be committed during the shot. All other balls must be placed in line with the foot spot. While the foul will not be counted towards the points, the player will get a free shot. This shot can also be played with any other ball.

The player must keep the ball in his/her own pocket in the event of a shot. The ball in the front row, and the ball in the center of the table, are the balls that must be hit first. If a foul occurs before a ball can be pocketed, then the ball in front row must be again pocketed. Any other balls may be taken by the player in addition to the one in the front row.
