In the same year, he won European Pool Championship. He won the WPA World 9 ball Championship and the Leende Open in 2019. He also claimed the first position in the US Open 9-ball championship.

The Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open started with the 9-ball single competition. The Netherlands' largest sports channel, Ziggo Sports Channel will broadcast the first match live. The semi-final will take place, followed by the final.
Albin Ouschan beat Ivar Saris in a thrilling match. Albin won nine of ten points to win the match. To reach the knockout round, Albin will next face the winner in the Erol Kayas-vs Michel Bartol match.
David Alcaide wins the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open. Shane Van Boening defeats David Alcaide
The Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open, which is now in its final stage, has Shane Van Boening a chance at winning the title. American had previously won last year's Predator World 10-ball Championship. Joshua Filler, World Pool and Billiards Association 9ball champion, will take on Filler in the final. Both men had overcome challenging draw conditions. Filler drew the final round against Gerson Martinez of Peru and Van Boening faced Russia's Fedor Gorst. Filler was able to win the second phase matches by four games.
Van Boening ranked first in the 64-player bracket. He spent hours practicing his break shot in Qatar. He used this to easily beat his first four opponents. The combined score was 44-14. He defeated Orcollo in round one, and then beat David Alcaide in round two.
