Ralph Greenleaf, an avid billiards player, started only a few short years ago. He has already taken part in some three cushion billiards tournaments and has placed in the top 10 at the national 3-cushion billiards tournament in Illinois last month. He has been attending a local club for billiards in the Twin Cities each month.
Nguyen Queyet Nguyen is the Vietnamese player who is ranked second and third in billiards. Both of them are ranked among the top 10 in the world. Both players currently rank in the top 8, with Tran Quyetchien at number 7. Both players are the tournament's champions. Ngo Dinh Nai is ranked number 29. Jeremy Bury of France is ranked 18
The next tournament that will be held in Vietnam is the 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Continental Cup which will be held December 20-22 at Seoul. The tournament will see eight top Vietnamese players competing. The total prize money will be about 160,000 USD. In addition to the tournament, there will be a number of other events and events will be held throughout the year.
The United States Billiard Association or USBA is the official governing authority for carom pool in the United States. The National Championship is the culmination of a series of events that are organized by the USBA. The USA will host the Pan-American Championship with the two best players from the National Championship.
The three tournaments of cushion billiards at Madison 3-Cushion Billiards club were highly competitive and closely contested. The tournament featured two flights with six players each. The tournament was handicapped. This meant that the semi-finals were reached by the first five participants in each flight. The top 12 players will receive $7,400. Bruce Venzke was the tournament director and was sponsored by First Business Bank of Madison. He is a legend in cue games.

This tournament was held in the south province of Binh Duong and featured eight teams that battled over three nights. The top two teams will move on to the semi finals. The third and fourth places will go to the quarterfinals. The final round will consist of single elimination. The Las Vegas World Cup 3-cushion Billiobilliards Tournament winner will receive a cash award of $20,000. This is the first appearance of a Vietnamese representative in the semi-finals.
The 3-Cushion Billiards Tournament is a relatively new game, but has already grown in popularity in many parts of the world. It was also featured on the animated Disney short film Donald, Mathmagic land. It was also featured in Seven Billiard Tables, a 2007 Goya Award-winning Spanish movie.
