
The World Trick Shot Championship, a championship for trick shot billiards, is held every year. The first edition of the competition took place in 1991 on snooker table. Matchroom Sport was responsible for organizing the event. Matchroom Sport organised the event. Players were evaluated on technical merit and presentation. In 2005, the competition was held at Celtic Manor.
During the 1970s, several international professional billiards players started performing trick shots. These players were awarded prizes like the World Championship of Artistic Pool, International Challenge Cup, or the Swedish Championship. Trick shot is a pool game that has been sanctioned by The World Pool-Billiard Assocation. Aside from playing in tournaments, trick shot artists also teach others the sport.
Since the late 1970s, Mike Massey has been one of the most well-known trick shot artists in the world. He has played many games with sports celebrities, such as Jason Gedrick and Paul Sorvino. Massey has been an important figure in the sport both as an instructor, and as a fundraiser. His performances at the Waste Management Pheonix Open and the Volvo PGA at Wentworth have garnered him a significant level of visibility.

Mike Massey is a teacher of many professionals in the field, including Scott Baiin (Dean Cain) and James Tolkan. He has participated in many international professional competitions. The team also performed at the HSBC Championships Abu Dhabi and the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
Jim Sommer is another amazing trick shot artist. He has competed in many international Trick shot turning events. He is the US Nationals Artistic Pool Championship Champion.
The World Trick Shot Artists Association of (WTSAA), a group that includes trick shot artists from all parts of the globe, is called the World Trick Shot Artists Association. Paul Gerni, world champion trick shot artist, is the founder of the association. There are 160 tricks in the WTSAA book. Some of these tricks include the machine gun shot, the "kick" shot, and the quick-fire shot. The "pro" shot and "extreme cut shots are just a few of the trick shots.
Tim "The Dragon" Chin, the 2022 US Nationals Artistic Pool Champion, won the prestigious title by defeating Jason "The Michigan Kid" Lynch in the finals. Both Lynch and Chin are WPA World Ranked. Lynch is still an Ohio State student, but Chin has the advantage as a seasoned professional.

The next Trick Shot Magic event will be held on October 9-10. The competition will feature eight international superstars of the sport. The prize pool is $40,000. Each player will have the option to pick from six to ten preset shots. After picking their favorites, each player will have three chances for the shot to be completed. The player with the most successful shot will receive a point.
