US Open 9 Ball Championship

The US Open 9 Ball Championship has become one of the most highly-coveted titles in nine pool. Held every year, it is a major tournament that attracts over 1,000 spectators and is broadcast on ESPN sports channel. 64 players will each receive $148,000 in total prize money. An additional $500 fee will be required to enter the event.

Many notable names have been crowned US Open 9 Ball Champion. Earl Strickland, Steve Mizerak, and Mike Sigel have all walked away with the title. Efren "The Magician", Reyes, is the pocket billiards player who has had the greatest success. In his career, he has won one U.S. Open Championship and one World Championship.

Luther Lassiter died in 1988. He was a legendary road player and won six world 9 ball championships. He was an outstanding player who had a long professional career. But in the end, Lassiter would have won more if there were more nine ball tournaments to play in.

Tanvee Valem, a nineyear-old boy from Hyderabad in India, started playing nineball seven months back. Roy Pastor, a Billiards Education Foundation coach, has been helping him. He will be competing in the Predator World Junior 9 Ball Championship on Monday.

Many players have won more than one title in the US Open 9 and WPA 9 championships. Jouni Tahti, Fred Dinsmore and Aaron Aragon are some of the most prominent names. Earl Strickland, Kurt DeKlerck and Mike Sigel are some of the other notable players who have won numerous US Open and world titles.

The World Pool Championship has the largest pool competition in the world. It's been run by Guinness World Records since 1981. This tournament has grown into an international competition that attracts millions of spectators from around the world. In addition, it has been broadcast on ESPN sports channel since 1999.
