Dafabet will be once again the title sponsor for the World Pool Masters. Dafabet is an online sports betting operator that partners with many high-profile brands such as Celtic FC, Norwich City FC and the Warwickshire County Cricket Team. Dafabet is also a sponsor of the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship. It was the title sponsorship of the World Pool Masters in 2017-2018 and 2019.
Gibraltar hosts the 2020 World Pool Masters. 24 of top pool players will compete for $100,000. Matchroom Pool Club subscribers get tickets on Monday December 9, and the general public on Tuesday December 10. David Alcaide was last year's champion. He will be trying to defend his title in front of a star-studded field.

Dafabet's title sponsorship has been extended for the World Pool Masters. The tournament will be held in Gibraltar from 22 to 25 May 2019. The title sponsor for the World Pool Masters 2017-2018 was Dafabet. Dafabet also offers sponsorship deals for other sports. The company has also partnered with LaLiga, a football tournament in Spain, and Durham Cricket Club in England.

Dafabet World Pool Masters (a nine-ball pool tournament) is an international competition. This is the most popular event in its category, with a growing prize pool each year. The prize pool for the event this season was $100,000. The tournament was won by David Alcaide, a Spaniard. In the final, Alcaide beat Greek Alexander Kazakis by double the final ball's length. Joshua Filler, a Bonen-based German pool player, is making waves within the professional pool world. The 21 year-old Filler has won the China Open, as well the European Pool Championships (10-ball). He is the youngest player to win either one of these competitions. In addition to winning the China Open, he is also the youngest player to ever win the European Pool Championships.
Filler started playing the sport aged seven and was already competing on the national level. He represented Europe in the Mosconi Cup at age twenty-five. After his Mosconi Cup appearance, he went on to win the China Open 9-ball tournament and the ten-ball European Pool Championship. He defeated Italian Carlo Biado in his final to win his second world championship. In addition to the World Pool Masters title, he won the Mosconi Cup and the World Cup of Pool. He also won the US Open Pool Championship.
Lo Ho-sum
The first Hong Kong pool player to reach the final at World Pool Masters, Lo Ho-sum, has expressed concerns about a recent budget cut. Despite his recent success, he is still relatively unknown in his homeland. Lo, a wild-card entry into the Gibraltar tournament was successful in a string matches that led to him reaching the final. In the quarterfinals he beat Shane Van Boening. However, he lost the final to Joshua Filler. They were tied at six before Lo's heroics ended the match.

The World Pool Masters, a nine-ball tournament held each year to determine the top pool players around the globe, is a nine ball competition. It was originally held in Europe, but it has since been expanded to include players from all over the world. Lo has a very solid professional record. He has also maintained a high ranking all through his career.
Sanchez Ruiz
Francisco Sanchez Ruiz defeated Max Lechner 13-10 to win the 2022 US Open Pool Championship. He is now at the top in the Live Nineball World Rankings, and he has won $50,000 as the first prize. Sanchez Ruiz became the first Spanish player, becoming the first to win one among pool's oldest majors. Sanchez Ruiz passed Shane Van Boening by winning the $100,000 mark.
Sanchez Ruiz faced many challenges against Filler. After making two consecutive racks, Sanchez Ruiz was able overcome his nerves and won the match. Sanchez Ruiz won with a two-rack buffer after Filler came back to tie the score at three points.
